On Monday we were lucky to have Rabbi Zvi visit our school to give us a whole school assembly about Judaism. He explained some of the similarities that Judaism and Christianity have as well as their differences. He told us a story about saying sorry and how they have a special Jewish new year when they try to do this. Rabbi Zvi then blew his ram horns, a shofar, so that we could think of something we might need to say sorry for. Year 3 and 4 then had workshops to find out more about Jewish festivals and Year 5 and 6 had workshops about their religious book the Torah.
