Paralympian Sam Ruddock visits Ann Edwards School September 2017

Friday 29th September, a day to remember for all involved at Ann Edwards Primary School. We were lucky enough to host Sam Ruddock, a GB Paralympian. Sam spent the morning visiting classes, answering a whole range of questions about his life and sporting achievements. A truly inspirational assembly followed after break. Sam explained in great detail the barriers he has faced throughout his life and during his sporting career. ‘What can I say but you’re welcome’, was also sung by the whole school during a very entertaining presentation on heroes and role models. Sam is a great ambassador for sport and a fantastic role model for all at Ann Edwards, staff and pupils alike. What a day! Mr Thomas
