'Marvellous Musical Milestones' theme day!

Stuart Elwin ran a fun 1960s concert for us to round up and celebrate the end of our first topic, 'Marvellous Musical Milestones'. He played classic songs from artisits such as The Beatles, The Who, Van Morrison, and many others. We all loved it, and had a great sing along and dance around!

Later in the day, Stuart led a workshop for the children. The children created a human drumkit with him! We thought about the beats and rhythms a drum kit makes, and had fun creating these rhythms together.

In other classes, children recorded perseverance raps they had created earlier in the term on Mr Mobey's blue screen, and created music using instruments and LearnPads with Miss Sheldon. All in all, it was a superb and creative day for everyone involved.

Thank you, Stuart, for your time and help.
