Making model planet Earths

In Geography, we have been learning about the structure of the Earth and how it is made up of different layers.  We learnt that the Earth has 4 distinctive layers starting with the thinnest layer the Crust.  Next is the Mantle, which is made up of molten rock followed by the Outer Core which is mainly made of iron and nickel.  The final layer is the Inner Core, the hottest layer at over 5000 degrees!  We used different coloured modelling clay to create our own model Earths.
