Home Learning term 4 and 5

Term 5

Week 5

Hello Acer Class! I hope you've all been enjoying your home learning so far!

Here is the planning for next week which is the last week before half term. In maths, you are practising doubling and halving. In English you are looking at Slowly Slowly by Eric Carle and The Tiger Who Came to Tea.

I have not included a bingo grid this week, I have added our PSHE, music and RE lessons for you to join in with. If you have already done these, please continue with some topic work on animals or complete our PE challenge of the week.

Next week we are participating in a 'Virtual Sports Day' which is very exciting. Mr Thomas would like you do compete in the events from home and you will get Dojo points for joining in. He would like you to wear your house colours for this as well, just like a real sports day! You can do all of the activities in one day or spread them out over the week.

Have a lovely week and I can't wait to see your sports day pictures.

Term 5

Week 1 and 2

Hello Acer Class! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter holidays at home with your families. It has been so lovely to see all of the fantastic things you have been doing over the past few weeks through Classdojo, please keep the pictures coming!

We start Term 5 with our Paws, Fins and Claws topic. That means we are looking at all different types of animals and their habitats! From tigers and lions to rabbits and hamsters, there will be something for everyone!

Below I have attached the plan for the first 2 weeks back after the holidays. I have included maths, literacy and phonics. Reading should be a book at home or a BugClub book. The login for BugClub is in the previous post on here.

This timetable is for activities for everyone.

Parents, please make sure we are connected on Classdojo so I can answer any queries you may have. If you feel like the work is too challenging or not challenging enough, please message me through the parent section on there. I am happy to help!
