In our study of Ancient Greece, Sycamore class have learnt that the Greek pottery can tell us a lot about everyday life, beliefs and culture. The children looked at photographs of artefacts and observed the paintings on the outside. These represented myths, legends, everyday life, sports, Gods and Goddesses. Sycamore class identified that the pottery included a repeated pattern, were different shapes and were largely coloured orange and black. The children chose their shape, designed their pottery and then created their own using clay. Please have a look at their amazing work!
