We read the story Stanley's Stick by John Hegley.  In the story Stanley turns ordinary sticks into amazing things through the power of his imagination!  We decided to go on our own Fantastick hunt to see what we could turn our sticks into.

As part of our topic 'Fire!, Fire!' we learnt how the houses in 1666 were made.  We found out that they used a technique called wattle and daub.  Wattle being the weaving of wood and daub being the mud and horse manure mixture to stick it all together to make the walls!
