Book Week

We have had a wonderful week inspired by books and reading! On Monday we listened to the storyteller John Rowe and together we came up with some very imaginative stories using our own ideas!

We learnt about the author Mini Grey and read some of her books about Space. This inspired us to come up with our own weird and wonderful space creatures. This was really fun!

On World Book Day we shared our favourite stories in our pyjamas. We also read some bed time stories and had hot chocolate and biscuits, this was a real treat! We had stories read to us by teachers from KS2 as they all swapped round classes to share some of their favourite books. It was nice to have different teachers in our classroom. We did some Buddy Reading with Oak class, we enjoyed sharing our books with the older children.
