'The Day the Lily Pads came!' Literacy work

On Monday 19th November, a terrible event took place in the Year 5/6 bay! The poor class teachers came into school to find lily pads all over the place. Upon closer inspection by the local police, and using recent CCTV footage, the children have ascertained that this was caused by (incredible though it is seems) flying frogs on lily pads.

On Wednesday, we were lucky to have eye witnesses to the event in to give their statements to the pupils, as we prepare to write a crime report about this for the eager Police Commissioner. The witnesses told the pupils what they saw, and then took questions from the pupils. Thankfully, we are almost at the bottom of the case now, but we have all been working hard to solve it, leaving no lily pad unturned.

Here is a video of one of the witnesses answering questions!
