Rocking and Rolling in the Stone Age
The children started off their first half term in Elm Class by learning all about life in the Stone Age. The children were fascinated by the range of creatures that existed in that period- including the wooly mammoth, sabre tooth tigers and the andrewsarchus. The pupils were also treated to a visitor from the Cotswold Water Park Education Centre who brought the past to life by showing the children a variety of fossils that were millions of years old! The children also learnt how to make stone age jewellery and drew wonderful stone age drawings to show what life was like in the Stone Age.
