On Tuesday 3rd May, Year 5 set off on their much anticipated trip to PGL Liddington. When we arrived, we were greeted wonderfully by the staff and treated brilliantly throughout our stay. Equally we, as teachers, were very pleased to hear about how highly they admired our children’s teamwork and attitude throughout the week. We took part in lots of adventurous activities during our stay, including; the zip wire, giant swing, problem solving, archery, quad-biking, mountain biking, Jacob’s Ladder and Raft Building. The children were mostly very brave and were keen to just jump into each activity. The activities really tested the children’s ability to work together but they really worked hard at it and they did very well. As you know, we were very lucky with the weather, which made it even more enjoyable for the children (and the staff)! We were also very lucky with the food at PGL Liddington. At every meal time, the children had lots of choice, with both cold and hot meals on offer. The children and staff all ate together and we all had a wonderful time.
