On Friday 25th September Ann Edwards School hosted a Macmillan coffee morning, in support of a National event and a very good cause. Staff and parents contributed a wide range of cakes and Mr Thomas even got a mention in Celebration Assembly for his piping skills ( watch out Mary Berry!!!) We had an amazing turnout, which once again shows not only the strength and support of our community but also the generosity of the many people who supported this event. The total figure raised to date was £ 374 but this figure is set to rise. The event was not only a great chance to raise money for a good cause but also a lovely opportunity for people to come into school and meet together. Many thanks to Mrs Jones and her amazing team for organising this and also for continuing at the end of school to ensure that all the cakes were sold and there was not a crumb left! The winner of the raffle was Abigail Clarke who was thrilled!
