100 Years of RAF

On Friday 13th July we had a very special day. We celebrated 100 years of the RAF. We started by having a very special assembly when Mrs Horne's Dad came in to talk to us about the 20 years he spent serving in the RAF. He told us about the different planes that he flew and the jobs he did. We then spent the rest of the morning outside doing lots of activities linked to the RAF and the red arrows. We made paper aeroplanes with the RAF logo on them, the made planes out of lego, we played  aeroplane games on the parachute, we coloured the Union Jack flag, we did code breaking  and we wrote our name using Semaphore Flags. We had such a fun morning.
